How to use this doc

  1. Duplicate it (top right). Every table and template becomes yours.
  2. Watch a lesson, then fill in the tool under it.
  3. Every lesson works on its own. Start with the part of the engine that’s broken for you. </aside>

The Trust Engine: the whole system on one page

Most YouTube advice is made for YouTubers. They get paid for views. You get paid for clients. That’s a different game, with different rules. This course is about the other game.

Here’s the whole engine. The top line is your viewer’s journey. The middle is seven parts that move them. Only one part needs your face.

The Trust Engine: 7 parts, only one needs your face.

The Trust Engine: 7 parts, only one needs your face.

Part What it does Lesson Who does it
Fit Is YouTube even your game? 1 You, 10 minutes
Plan Three documents before the first video 2 The team with a system, ~2–3 hours
Script One page instead of a script 3 Your brain, ~1 hour
Film 1 day → 4 long videos → 20 shorts 4 Your face, one day a month
Package Buyers click, tourists scroll past 5 The team with a system
Multiply One video becomes a week of content 6 The team with a system
Bridge From a view to a booked call 7 The team with a system
Measure The honest timeline and the numbers that matter 8 The team with a system
Team Who runs parts 1–7 9 You, a freelancer, a team or an agency

Most founders do the wrong things. They spend weeks on things that don’t matter: cameras, editing apps, a new banner. And they never show up.

Lesson 1 · YouTube for Business Owners: Two Games, One Engine

Two games

The reach game (YouTubers) The trust game (you)
Paid for Views: ads and sponsors from Clients
Needs Millions of views, going viral The right few hundred people
Wins with Trends, broad topics, posting every day Expertise, stories, a path to a call
Scoreboard Views and subscribers Calls, clients, pipeline
A video with 500 views is… a flop possibly a big deal

Most YouTube advice you watch is written for the other game. Follow it, and you’ll get views from people who can’t buy.

Real example: Tvoy Sklad, a self-storage franchise. About 2,000 subscribers. ~$5M in investments in 2024–2025, and partners came from YouTube without ads. Today: 41 locations in four years, 25 cities, 3 countries.
